MVACA February 2019 Newsletter

Updated: Feb 26, 2019

Hello Neighbor! Check out our latest newsletter to see what has been happening in our community and what we look forward to in the coming year!

Hello Neighbor,

On behalf of the Mago Vista Area Civic Association (MVACA) board, we wish you a happy and prosperous New Year! Founded in 1946 (Inc. in 1953) we are proud to be in our 73rd year of serving this beloved community.

Our goal is to improve the quality of life for Mago Vista residents by enhancing our many diverse communities in the following areas:

Family & Community Events

Safety & Public Concern Issues

Improvements & Appearance of our Community

Government & Local Law Enforcement

In 2018 one of our major accomplishments was partnering with AA County Department of Recreation and Parks on the wonderful new playground in Mago Vista Park and new pavilion just upraised this past month! Also, together with the MD Department of Agriculture, we provided Mosquito Control Spraying to the entire community. In addition, we hosted the following community events:

Easter Egg Hunt

Day In The Park

Trunk Or Treat

Santa Ride

To make 2019 another great year in Mago Vista we need your help. We only receive funding from membership dues and we do our best to make every dollar benefit this great community.

Last year, 14% of our residents stepped up to support our efforts, thank you! Imagine how much more we could accomplish with the contribution of many more neighbors! Please pay your $20 dues TODAY via check or Paypal.

More importantly, we need your input, feedback and opinions! Every voice in our community matters, and you can make yours heard by:

Attending our monthly meeting (Every 3rd Monday, check for details)

Volunteering for one of our events

Leave us a message on our president, Rich Warden, by e-mail at or phone (410) 703-2825

Joining the board as a member (yes, you!)

We’d love to get to know you! Please send us an email with your name, cell phone number, and which neighborhood you live in so we can connect.

As always, we are grateful for your support and look forward to partnering with you in 2019!

Your Friends from the MVACA Board
